If you are a member of AAUP, we encourage you to support the local chapter by paying dues. These dues—which are waivable to allow faculty to join for free for their first three years—are $24 per year and are used to pay expenses associated with chapter meetings and to help support our members representing the chapter at the national AAUP meeting.
For most members, the national AAUP does not collect these dues. The only members paying the chapter dues through the national AAUP are those on payroll deduction. All other members, whether lifetime members or annual dues payers, need to pay dues directly to the chapter treasurer.
Please support the chapter each year by sending a check for $24, made out to the UIUC AAUP, to the treasurer. The mailing address is 3414 Persimmon Circle, Urbana, IL 61802.
